Bio: I’m a young professional with a diverse riding background trying to make it in the horse industry. I love dressage, and eventing fits my personality – but, I’ll always have a soft spot for cows and my cutting saddle too! At this point in my career, I focus on starting young horses (taking in my fair share of problem horses along the way) and developing/competing my own personal and sales horses.
I constantly try to better myself as an equestrian by every possible medium – lessons, clinics, auditing, reading, watching videos or talking horses with other horsemen – and always stay open-minded about the source. Knowledge is knowledge, regardless of the discipline from where it came. This blog is where I’d like to document my learning experiences so others can find a helpful tidbit and maybe not have to learn things the way I did, usually the hard way.
Other than horses, my hobbies consist of writing and photography, so hopefully I’ll be able to bring them together here.
